When it comes to managing your crypto securely, Trezor Suite stands out as one of the most trusted hardware wallet interfaces. With the release of v24.12.3, Trezor has introduced a small but impactful feature: Emoji Add – a visual upgrade that enhances user experience and transaction personalization.
In this blog, we'll explore how to use the Trezor Suite App with the Emoji Add feature in v24.12.3, ensuring your journey is both secure and seamless. 🧩
Before diving into the step-by-step tutorial, here’s a quick rundown of what v24.12.3 brings:
🚀 Emoji Add: Personalize your account and transaction labels with emojis for easier identification.
🛡️ Improved device communication stability.
🔍 Updated coin support and minor UI enhancements.
🪲 Bug fixes improving performance across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
For official details, visit the Trezor changelog 📄.
Before you start, make sure:
You own a Trezor Model One or Model T.
Your firmware is updated.
You've installed the Trezor Bridge (latest version recommended).
You have the Trezor Suite v24.12.3 installed from the official site.
Open the Trezor Suite app on your computer.
Connect your device via USB.
Enter your PIN if prompted.
Allow the desktop app to communicate with your Trezor.
🔐 Security Tip: Only download the Suite from suite.trezor.io to avoid phishing scams.
From the Dashboard, click on any of your active crypto accounts (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum).
On the top-right, click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to your account name.
Select Rename account.
In the rename field, type your preferred account name and simply paste or type emojis.
Example: “HODL 🚀” or “Savings Vault 🏦🔥”
Click Save and your account will now display the emoji-enhanced name across the dashboard and transaction history.
💡 Why use emojis? Emojis make it easy to visually identify different wallets, especially if you manage multiple accounts across various cryptocurrencies.
Click on a transaction from your account’s history.
Hit the “Label” button.
Add text and emojis such as “NFT Purchase 🎨” or “Salary 💰”.
This is stored securely via Trezor’s Labeling Feature backed by Dropbox integration (opt-in only).
Avoid over-labeling: Keep names concise and use meaningful emojis.
Enable discreet mode: Want to hide sensitive info when sharing your screen? Use Discreet Mode from the top toolbar.
Backup your labeling data: If you use Dropbox for labeling, ensure your backup is encrypted.
Trezor Suite v24.12.3 is more than just a software upgrade — it's a step toward personalizing and simplifying crypto portfolio management. The Emoji Add feature is a user-friendly touch that makes organizing your digital assets more intuitive.
As crypto adoption grows, features like these help bridge the gap between security and usability. 🚀
